Description
The ER11 collet chuck is a crucial component in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) engraving machines, specifically designed for securely holding cutting tools like end mills and engraving bits. Characterized by its precision and versatility, the ER11 system accommodates tools with shank diameters ranging from 1 to 7mm, providing a reliable and repeatable clamping mechanism. ER11 collets are often available in sets, offering users a range of collet sizes to cover different tool shank diameters. The material composition of these collets, often made from spring steel or high-quality metal alloys, ensures durability and reliability in demanding machining environments.
- ER11 Collets(15pcs/set) Clamping Range: 1-7mm(1,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.175,3.5,4,4.5,5,5.5,6,6.35,6.5,7)
- Use the high carbon bearing steel, heat treated-rigidity is HRC 48°-50°
- The inner bore processing by high-precision grinding according to DIN standards.

The proper way to fit RR ER11 Collet to a suitable nut:
- The Collet must always be inserted into the nut before setting the tool into the collet
- The collet is fitted inside the nut by applying slight pressure A
- It is removed by applying Pressure B to the collet
- Never tighten the chuck without a correct size tool shank being present in the collet

I did find that there was some smell while using it and found it would be better to use this engraver in a ventilated area. I think it should be necessary to buy another air assist to direct the airflow to the outside, the effect will be better!
