Applicable scenario
Use this guide if the red light indicator on your F2 Ultra becomes dim or stops working.
Tools required
- 2.5 mm hex screwdriver
- 2 mm Phillips screwdriver
- A new red light indicator

Safety first
Before replacing the red light indicator:
- Power off the machine.
- Unplug the power cable.
- Remove the safety key at the back of the machine.
Replacement steps
Step 1: Unscrew the mounting screws
Use the 2.5 mm hex screwdriver to unscrew the two screws securing the red light indicator.

Step 2: Remove the cover of the laser module
Follow the instructions from 00:00 to 01:09 of the video to remove the cover of the laser module.
Step 3: Remove the old red light indicator
Disconnect the connection cable and remove the old red light indicator.

Step 4: Install the new red light indicator
Insert the new module in the same orientation.
Note: Make sure the light-emitting end is close to the field lens. This is critical for proper alignment.

Step 5: Secure the screws
Tighten the two screws using the hex screwdriver.

Step 6: Connect the new red light indicator
Insert the connection cable for the new red light indicator to the laser module.

Step 7: Install the cover of the laser module back
Follow the instructions from 01:35 to 02:20 of the video to install the cover of the laser module back.
Step 8: Perform fiber IR and blue-light laser calibration
After replacement, enter Device settings > Parameter settings, and click Start calibration to perform a calibration to ensure accurate focusing.
